6 months to success

Can you believe that we are half way through the year already?! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ


How does this make you feel?

Have you achieved everything you wanted to by this point in the year?

Is there anything you wish you had done or done better?

Do you have anything you are looking forward to in the second half of this year?


For some of us, we will be looking back on our year with a smile and a sense of achievement, for others; we will wish we had done more to get closer to our goals.ย 


This doesn’t mean we cant achieve what we set out to do.ย So what can we do starting from now, to ensure we spend the rest of the year achieving and progressing? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ


  1. Check in on yourself โœ…

Did you have any specific goals at the start of the year that you haven’t quite reached yet? Why have you not reached them? BE HONEST with yourself as this is the only way you will be able to move forward and get the momentum up and running again for the next 6 months.


  1. Decide what you want to achieve over the next 6 months ๐Ÿ“†

Where do you visualize yourself being at the end of the year? Take into consideration your work, personal, social and family commitments and be realistic about where you want to be.


  1. Write your goals down ๐Ÿ“

Put your vision onto paper. Think about your โ€˜WHYโ€™ย and write it down. Think about your ultimate goal and write it down – maybe stick it somewhere in your house so you are reminded of it each day. This will keep your goal in the forefront of your mind.ย 


  1. Make a plan ๐ŸŽฏ

‘A goal without a plan is just a wish’ as the saying goes. Break down your goal into smaller, more achievable goals.

If you want to lose a stone by Christmas, then aim to lose at least 2lb each month. If you want to be able to do full press upโ€™s by the end of the year, aim to work on perfecting your form and progressing to 1 full press up within a month, then work on increasing your reps.ย 


  1. Make conscious decisions every day ๐Ÿ˜‡

Each day, wake up and make conscious decisions to change and take steps towards where you want to be.ย
